Zanya shows what happens when innovation meets intention. This lot is meticulously double washed, a rare process in Vietnam. Double washing means the beans go through the washing process twice, which takes extra time and care but the result is a clean, bright cup that lets the flavors really shine. Notes of maple, umeboshi & port wine come through beautifully in a smooth, layered coffee that’s both interesting and easy to enjoy.

This coffee comes from Zanya Coffee, founded by Marián (Slovakia) and Lim (Vietnam) — partners in both life and purpose. Together, they returned to Lim’s hometown in the Langbiang Mountains to unlock the hidden potential of Vietnam’s Arabica. Their name, Zanya, symbolizes strength and femininity, a tribute to the powerful role women play in K’ho and Montagnard communities.

Vietnam is best known for its vast Robusta production, but Zanya is part of a new wave of producers rewriting that story. Through careful experimentation and an embrace of global best practices, Marián and Lim are pushing quality forward with each harvest. Their double washed lots, precise, clean, and bright, showcase the future of Vietnam’s specialty coffee: intentional, transparent, and full of heart and we are so excited to share it with our customers.

Story

In the misty hills of the Langbiang Mountains, small coffee gardens thrive under the care of families who’ve worked this land for generations. Lim and Marián partner closely with these farmers, combining local knowledge with careful processing to highlight the region’s best qualities.

Each bag of Zanya Double Washed reflects their goal to show that Vietnamese coffee can be both familiar and surprising, rooted in tradition yet open to new ideas.
