Designed to introduce core barista skills to people with no previous barista experience. Includes hands on training to apply newly learned skills. Successful candidates should be able to calibrate their grinders and make an espresso and cappuccino to core standards.
- Understand multiple variables and effects on espresso extraction
- Demonstrate fundamentals of consistent espresso preparation
- Gain familiarity with barista tools and machines
- Acquiring and developing milk steaming techniques and drink execution
Duration: 8 hours (including written and practical exam)
Course registration fees are non-refundable. Students may transfer registration to another course date with 7 day notice.
