Origami.

Our new favorite brew method. And not just because it's cute! This guide was created using the small Origami Dripper. 

 

Coffee

15 grams

Grind

Medium-Fine, about a 10 on a Baratza Encore

Water

240g(ml), 200 degrees

Ratio

1:16, coffee:water

Brew Time

3 minutes

1. Prep

Rinse filter and Origami with hot water, preheating the vessel.

Dump water into your mug to preheat it as well.

Add ground coffee to filter.

2. Brew

Start timer and pour 40g(ml) water, or enough to saturate grounds completely. Stir gently.

At 0:30, pour 100g(ml) of water, starting in the center and moving outwards in concentric circles.

At 1:00, pour another 100g(ml) of water, starting in the center and moving outwards in concentric circles.

It should completely drain in around three minutes.

Pour and enjoy!
